For this category our judges are looking for a portfolio of your collages that are representative of the breadth and depth of your collage practice.

SINGLE IMAGE OR SERIES (4 - 10 IMAGES)
Landscapes, beaches, mountains, wildlife, sunsets, sky, plants - the options are vast with this open call and we’re excited to see how you approach collages containing the natural world we live in.

Series
4 - 10 IMAGES
As the name might suggest we’re looking for a coherent series of works - a specific project perhaps or an on-going series on a particular theme.

Commissioned works
SINGLE IMAGE OR MULTIPLE IMAGES OF ONE PROJECT
Have you created work for a client – a book cover, editorial image or perhaps an album cover? Then this is the category for you! We want to see all of your commissioned work - whether it was a single piece for a magazine or a series of posters. Your artist statement should include who the client was and a rough outline of the brief given.

Innovation
BODY OF EVIDENCE
Here we are looking for projects and approaches that use collage art in new and innovative ways. It could be working with technology, using collage for good, or incorporating new techniques into your work. Your submission should include a description of the project/initiative with supporting images and examples of work produced.

Open call - Fashion & clothing
SINGLE IMAGE OR SERIES (4 - 10 IMAGES)
Whether you follow the latest trends or stick to your own unique style, fashion is everywhere and we want to see your approaches to this amazingly diverse subject!

Submission Guide
Please, please, please…read this guide thoroughly before submitting your work.
Once you have purchased your entries, you will be sent a link to download the instructions for the Contemporary Collage Magazine Awards 2024. Within this you will find the links to upload your submissions, a Word Document for your bio and artist statement, and an example submission to refer to.

Images should be JPEG, 300dpi and be no smaller than 5 MB in size.
Please label each image as the following:
Please label your files in the following format :

i. e. Les Jones_untitled_lesjonescollage.jpgIf you are sending multiple entries, please put each entry in a separate folder.
The folder should be labeled as the following:
Name_Category
I.e Les Jones_Memory Series
If you are submitting multiple entries to one category, please number each entry, i.e Les Jones_Memory Series 1We will not consider any image that does not meet these requirements so please make sure that all your submitted imagery is named correctly and of good resolution.

Once you have purchased you're awards entry, you will be prompted to download the Awards Pack, in here we have included everything you need to know to enter the awards.
This includes :
• An example entry - refer to this to make sure you have labeled everything and filed your work correctly.
• A word doc to fill in your bio and statement (statements are project specific and must be updated for each entry, bios can stay the same)
• Instructions on labelling and filing formats, image specifications and the links to upload your entries to the relevant Dropbox folders. -

Winners announced across the Contemporary Collage Magazine website and social media. -
In each of the categories, you may enter works in the following mediums:
• Analogue collage
• Mixed media (with clear collaged elements)
• Digital collage
• Assemblage (three dimensional works/objects)

In each category there will be three prize levels - Gold, Silver and Bronze.
All recognised artists will receive:
• A digital certificate
• Inclusion in our Awards gallery on our website
• Permission to use the CC. Magazine Awards logo in their own communications.
In addition to the above, category winners will receive:
• Inclusion in our CC.Magazine Awards book
• A printed certificate
• A dedicated interview feature in an issue of CC. Magazine
• A dedicated post on our Instagram page
• Inclusion in wider PR about the awards
• PLUS a full year subscription to CC. Magazine.

The G.F Smith Award
Every submission we receive to the G.F Smith challenge will be automatically entered into this year’s Contemporary Collage Magazine Awards G.F Smith Category, and judged by the wonderful team at G.F Smith! All you need to do is purchase your challenge, and send us your submission to submissions@contemporarycollagemagazine.com by the 30th September to be in with a chance to win.
